Fred and the carpenters took time to listen to what I wanted and produced it exactly. We collaborated on several  details that added to the overall graciousness of the design. A few changes mid-work were incorporated without trouble. They worked every day until it was complete; no taking off on other projects, as other contractors I have worked with did. They have come back several times to fix a few items that cropped up all in a timely manner. On the whole it has been a pleasure to do business with them."

"In March of 2016, Fred Nice put an addition on my home. He built a large room over our garage which required redoing the existing framework and roof structure.

Fred was so quick to reply to all of my emails and phone calls throughout the entire process – the estimate, the plans, and the construction. I could always get in contact with him whenever I had a question. Whenever we needed to pick something out, such as the paint colors, carpet colors, or roof type, Fred was very quick to provide us with samples and answer all of our questions.

I was home with my young son during the entire process, and I felt so comfortable with all of the subcontractors working in my home. They were always so nice, friendly, and always kept the construction site extremely clean at the end of the day. They were very accommodating and considerate.

I was surprised and pleased at the speed and efficiency of Fred and his workers. I was originally promised a 60 day construction period in our building contract. Fred actually finished the work a little early – despite a few weather delays and extra items my husband and I had decided to add on during the process. He seemed to have his workers lined up extremely well and efficiently which made the entire process run smoothly and quickly.

I was extremely happy with the finished product. They provided excellent work and used quality products. They went above and beyond and did not just provide the minimum industry standards. We added on to an existing 16 year old home and I don’t think anyone would be able to tell. They were so thorough to match the existing materials we already had both in and outside of our home. I would definitely recommend Fred to anyone looking to build and would use him again in the future."

"Working with Fred Nice and his contractors was a wonderful experience. I was 6 months pregnant and our downstairs flooded due to a clogged pipe. We had several attempts at quotes but almost all the contractors did not get back to us. We lived in a torn up downstairs for over a month waiting for quotes to come back. When Fred heard about this he wasted no time and did everything so fast and it looked amazing. Every part of the process was speedy and so well done. I trusted him and everyone under him in my home.
